Hydrangeas Galore 

A hearty group of 27 Duck River Garden Club members visited with Mark Comstock of Hydrangeas Galore on January 10, 2024. What an informative evening of all things related to growing and caring for hydrangeas in our shoreline town area! Held in his greenhouse, Mark Comstock also shared tips and tricks for cultivating bonsai.

Enders Island 

On September 14, 2023, a group of 31 Duck River Garden Club members visited Enders Island off the coast of Mystic for a tour of their extensive dahlia gardens, in full September bloom. This was followed by a sandwich and salad lunch in the St. Edmunds’s Retreat Center main building. We shared this special field trip with 20 members of the Westbrook Garden Club.
