We welcome guests at our monthly member meetings that feature guest speaker programs. Most programs are held at The Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall at 52 Lyme Street in Old Lyme, except for those marked by an * asterisk. We begin with a business meeting at 6:00 pm followed by a social time from 6:40 – 7:00 p.m., with the program running from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 Tools of the Trade. Leah Van Ness, owner of Montville Florist, will show us treasured tools that make flower arranging easier, faster and safer. A members-only event.

*Wednesday, November 12, 2025 Caring for Birds Year-Round: Tips for Winter Feeding with Jessica Penfield, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited in Old Saybrook. The location for this meeting and program is the Old Lyme Historical Society.

Wednesday, February 18, 2026 Historic Connecticut Gardens. Laurie Masciandaro, site manager at historic New England’s Roseland Cottage in Woodstock, CT will focus on sixteen beautiful and unique gardens in Connecticut.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026 Native Seed Saving for Propagation by Lydia Pan, PhD. Learn which types of native plants produce dry seeds that can remain viable for years, how to recognize and collect ripe seeds and how to process and store seed material.
