About the club

Duck River Garden Club of Old Lyme was founded in 1970. It has been a member of the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut since 1971. This website brings a wider picture of our goals and activities to others who may wish to join us as we work to improve our community. We welcome new members with similar interests.

The goals of the club are to stimulate a greater interest in gardening and landscaping, to learn the elements of floral design, to create a greater awareness of nature and conservation, and to maintain the beauty of our communities.
